Praise the Lord! After months of prayerful service, the Call Committee has presented a candidate of choice. The pastor has been unequivocally recommended by the Call Committee and has the unanimous approval of the church council. We request that all members join us for a “Meet & Greet” potluck at the church on Saturday May 31st, 2008 at 5:00 PM. This will give you a chance to visit with the pastor prior to the congregational vote, which will occur on Sunday June 1st, 2008 at 10:30 AM.
We rejoice in the candidate presented to us and hope that you are as excited as we are to begin this new chapter in Lord of Life. Your continued prayers are needed as we progress through these changes. We are particularly grateful for Pastor KD’s and Pastor Chuck’s faithful service during this transition time. God has provided us with exemplary interim pastors and we are forever grateful! We thank God for His many blessings!
