Greetings to you in Christ!
I was born on a farm in Northeast Nebraska. In my early years I worked with my dad in his construction business. After that I served two years in the Army, one of those in Vietnam. I then spent 17 years in the supermarket business and now, 35 years as Pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America serving five congregations full time and four congregations in retirement.
I have been married now for 55 years to a lovely lady, Jackie. We have two children, Jennifer, who lives in Santa Monica and works for the Keck School of Medicine, and Jay, who lives in Atlanta with his wife Erica. He works for Anthem Insurance. We also have two grand cats, Chewy and Francois.
The Gospel I proclaim…Jesus came to us, made us His own. and loves us forever! Now we take that love to the community and the world! My passion…renewing and redeveloping small congregations!
